About Us

One Ticket, One Fare Schedule and A Regionally Harmonised Transport Offering. These are the central advantages of Verkehrsverbund Bremen/Niedersachsen (VBN). Day and night, 365 days a year our diverse transport offering enables 100 per cent mobility with and without a car. The VBN area is made up of the independent city of Bremen, Bremerhaven, Delmenhorst and Oldenburg and Ammerland, Diepholz, Oldenburg, Osterholz, Verden and Wesermarsch districts. Moreover, the 9,416 km2 network area with its population of around 2 million, comprises individual communities in Cuxhaven, Nienburg and Rotenburg (Wümme) districts.

Together with our around 30 transport companies and Zweckverband Verkehrsverbund Bremen/Niedersachsen (ZVBN) we coordinate the VBN transport offering and draw up quality concepts for passenger information across all of the companies, for stops and vehicles and for complaints management. The VBN is the central contact for further development of the VBN fare schedule, drawing up a network timetable, uniform marketing across the network, public relations and press work, passenger information, timetable and service information, quality assurance, transport surveys and passenger projects, such as VBN locally, VBN BusSchoolVBN School Bus Escort or VBN Mobility Training. Our employees in the VBN information service can be reached on 04 21/59 60 59 all around the clock.
