Local public transport on the spot for single tickets at the Lower Saxony fare schedule

In addition to travel by local trains, single tickets of the Lower Saxony fare also include travel by bus, tram, city and U trains at the departure and destination location in the fare zone (usually: 1 fare zone = 1 municipality), in which the departure and/or destination station are located. You can find detailed information (in German) on the Niedersachsentarif GmbH website, under the menu item “Local public transport on the spot”.
